# CRUD Form Test Report - 2026-03-16

## Scope

This pass added and executed real feature tests for the ERP/admin CRUD form flows built through the roadmap modules:

- Core: Branches, Settings
- Finance: Fiscal Years, Accounts, Journals, Journal Entries, Posting
- Inventory: Warehouses, Items, Stock Movements
- Sales: Customers, Sales Orders, Invoices
- HR: Employees, Payroll

New test files:

- `tests/Concerns/BuildsErpTestData.php`
- `tests/Feature/Core/CoreCrudFormsTest.php`
- `tests/Feature/Finance/FinanceCrudFormsTest.php`
- `tests/Feature/Inventory/InventoryCrudFormsTest.php`
- `tests/Feature/Sales/SalesCrudFormsTest.php`
- `tests/Feature/HR/HrCrudFormsTest.php`

## Result Summary

- Total CRUD flows tested: 15

## Passed Flows

### Core

- Branch forms: index, create, store, show, edit, update, delete
- Settings form: index, update

### Finance

- Fiscal Years: index, create, store, show, close period, close year
- Journals: index, create, store, edit, update, delete
- Journal Entries draft flow: index, create, store, show, edit, update, delete
- Journal Entries posting flow: post action, posted-state immutability checks

### Inventory

- Warehouses: index, create, store, edit, update, delete

## Confirmed Failures

### 1. Finance Accounts create form crashes

- Flow: `GET /admin/finance/accounts/create`
- Result: HTTP 500 during form rendering
- Root cause: Blade syntax error in `resources/views/dashboard/finance/accounts/create.blade.php`
- Exact issue:

class="form-control @error('code') is-invalid @error"
```

The closing directive is incorrect. It should use `@enderror`.

- Evidence:
  - The CRUD test failed on the create form route.
  - Laravel raised `ParseError: unexpected end of file, expecting "elseif" or "else" or "endif"`.
  - The broken directive is on line 26 of `resources/views/dashboard/finance/accounts/create.blade.php`.

## Coverage Gaps Found During Testing

### 1. Cost Centers module is not routable

- `app/Http/Controllers/Admin/Finance/CostCenterController.php` exists.
- `php artisan route:list --path=cost-center` returned no matching routes.
- Result: there is no reachable admin form flow to test for Cost Centers right now.

## Notes

- This report covers the ERP/admin roadmap modules, not the older legacy CMS/site content controllers under `app/Http/Controllers/Admin/Site` or the legacy user-management/resource screens.
- No application fixes were applied in this testing pass; this report reflects the real current state after executing the new CRUD suite.

## Recommended Next Actions

1. Fix the Blade typo in `resources/views/dashboard/finance/accounts/create.blade.php` and rerun the CRUD suite.
2. Add missing admin routes for the Cost Centers module, then add its CRUD feature tests.
3. If full admin coverage is required beyond the ERP roadmap, run a second pass for legacy Site, Settings, and User Management forms.
